Stream in the Canyon
And now we take in
the fair, flawless,
purity of an unbroken
flowing.
This big love, like a
clear, meandering
stream in the canyon,
has faithfully shaped us.
Slow and silent, this
stream persists.
Its gentle carving,
reveals beloved
beings beneath
sand and rock.
I see you
when I did not
see you
before.
Within us, and around us,
and between us,
this stream,
without our
noticing,
has done its work.
And will do its work.
