Joelle Byars is a Ph.D. student at Morgan State University, having obtained her MA and BA in English from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Hawaii at Manoa, respectively. She enjoys exploring the possibilities of prose fiction. Her work can also be seen in The William and Mary Review, decomp journal, and Prometheus Dreaming among others.
