Web3 Publishing News #3: NiftyLit Happenings
Before we start, a few reminders:
• Our website now has login functionality. Users can login with a Google account and bookmark publications. We’re building out more functionality from there.
• Be on the lookout for our official newsletter to be up and running soon. Users will be able to sign up for our newsletter and be the first to know about special promotions, perks, etc.
• We are continuing to collaborate with other companies and projects in the web3 publishing space on new endeavors. We hope to share some exciting news about one partnership in particular very soon!
• Jo from the NiftyLit team will be at NFT Seattle in late September. If you want to spend some time with them in real life (IRL) send them an email at jo@niftylit.io.
We hesitate to call this “news” so much as “highlights” or “trends,” or maybe even a blog, but we’re sticking with “news” for now.
Our Bodies, Our Rights
The week of Sept 26th, we will be publishing our entire “Our Bodies, Our Rights” issue to raise funds for the Women’s Reproductive Rights Assistance Project (@WRRAP). Last week, we published a sneak preview from this issue: “My Body,” by Bibiana Krall. It is already available on OpenSea to purchase as a literary NFT, so you can buy now and support!
Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions about supporting this important cause.
The NiftyLit Newsletter is Coming Soon
We are up and running on Active Campaign for newsletter management, so expect to see some calls to action on our site very soon to subscribe to our newsletter! The newsletter will initially be published on a monthly or bi-monthly cadence, and will include NiftyLit specific happenings, highlights of our recent publications and contributors, and news on special community perks, promotions, etc. We might even give away some free NiftyLit t-shirts, mugs, and sweatshirts to commemorate the launch of our newsletter (gotta check our inventory…).
Mark Your Calendars! We are Hosting A Reading!
On October 13, 2022, we will be hosting a virtual reading (via Zoom) for our contributing authors. Many of our issue #1 authors have already committed, and will read from their published pieces. Email info@niftylit.io or Jo or Katie directly, and we will be sure to put you on the distribution list for an invite. Hope to see you there!
Thank you for reading, and WAGMI!
