Finn Mott

Finn Mott, 22 years old, from Vail, Colorado graduated from Colorado College, majoring in business economics and society and minoring in creative writing with honors. They recently began at the New School in New York City to pursue a MFA in creative writing with a poetry concentration. After being diagnosed with metastic inter cranial germinoma with two brain tumors and spinal fluid at age 13, Finn is dedicated to the empowerment of vulnerability for social and systemic change.

Finn has published three poetry collections (“Call Me Disturbing”, “his salt and her flower” was recently published by Lethe press, “Viral” is a multimedia collection published with High Access Media) in addition to countless individual poems, been a three time featured poet, and won many poetry contests. Some of his other work can be found published with Poetry Foundation, Wingless Dreamer Literary Magazine, the Leviathan, Jives Lounge and Finn was the first undergraduate student to receive support in a poetry publication from Colorado College.
